Holiday Decompression Space

Our Holiday Decompression Space is a time for gentle reflection and care.

Come regulate your nervous system and de-stress with prayer, mindfulness, and support as we approach the New Year.

Yesterday was January 2020 and somehow it’s almost January 2026.

When did we get here? How did we get here?

Social media gurus will guilt trip us into setting unrealistic New Year resolutions and then we’re still recovering from all the stress of the holiday season. It’s a lot.

So if you find yourself feeling confused, hopeless, and burnt out going into 2026, don’t worry sis—so do we.

Come to a space where you can take your mask off, breathe, and process all the tension, thoughts, and feelings around this time. We’ll pray, practice mindfulness, journal, and all the things together. You’ll get a take-home guide on how to keep managing stress, too.

As a Coptic woman and child of immigrants, Rachel has spent the better part of her life navigating cultural and familial expectations, while grappling with issues of identity, wellness, and faith.

This is why she now develops mindset and wellness programs for Christian BIPOC women, equipping them with tools for self-sufficiency, healthy coping mechanisms, and mindfulness techniques.

The credentials:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Development, Binghamton University

  • Dual-masters degrees in Counseling Psychology, Columbia University

  • Spiritual Life Coaching certification, Transformation Academy

  • A decade of experience in advising, coaching and mentoring, including 6 years counseling students at NYU, CUNY, community colleges, and high schools
